Analyzed the structural integrity and performance of the Exactech AcuMatch M-Series Stem under realistic load conditions to reduce failure risks and enhance design reliability.

Technical Insights

• Modeled the hip stem using SolidWorks, focusing on replicating stress conditions at critical load-bearing points. Conducted comprehensive FEA simulations to identify high-stress zones, particularly at the neck of the stem. Optimized the design by adjusting neck offset and diameter, reducing stress concentrations and improving durability. Validated the updated design through stress distribution analysis, ensuring long-term reliability under repeated loading cycles.
